SAIC
awarded $49.9M DETAR Contract:
SAIC awarded a $49.9 million over 5 year for the Directed Energy Technology Applications
and Research (DETAR) contract by the Directed Energy Directorate of the Air Force
Research Laboratory (AFRL). ScienceOps is one of 12 small businesses
subcontractors supporting the contract (3 January 2005). ScienceOps will provide
advanced algorithms for modelling high energy plasma physics environments, with
special emphasis on high power microwaves.
