About RLink
R is an interactive data analysis package available for free over the internet with
a gnu license at http://www.R-project.org.

RLink is a MathLink based tool for Mathematica that allows Mathematica users to
embed R in their Mathematica applications. Methods are provided for sending and
receiving data between Mathematica and R, evaluating R commands, utilizing R graphics,
and obtaining help from R - all from within Mathematica.

Hardware Requirements:

RLink can run on any Windows hardware that runs Mathematica 6.0 or Mathematica 7.0 and also runs R-2.8.1 or R-2.9.0. Memory required by RLink is minimal, but, if large arrays are used; the memory required for these arrays may be doubled. A machine with 2 gigabytes or more of memory is suggested.
